Arizona 2012: Gymnastics and Joel’s birthday

My Team had a gymnastics competition in Phoenix, AZ this past weekend & we did AWESOME (some Beam CHAMPS!!! woot woot), but let me just say that traveling with a baby is a WHOLE different experience than taking a road trip sans Little One.  We planned for the worst, hoped for the best, Got somewhere in between.  Little Mister didn’t ever fall into a deep (more than 2 hours) sleep and he cried whenever he woke up-So we stopped a few more times than normal (it took us 8 1/2 hours instead of 6, but Oh well). Thank goodness for PUFFS, Videos of Little Mister, and IZ.  I’m in no hurry to go on a long trip with my little one in tow, but at least I know that it’s doable, totally doable-just leave 4 hours earlier…
